Edition 01 - 1:1.1 (Wonky sets)
Made by ceramicist Alex Millar in her Bow studio, 1:1.1 is comprised of two ceramic vessels made from 100% reclaimed, recycled clay. Our wonky sets are just as beautiful but don’t guarantee the exact 1:1.1 ratio of rice to water when used together. They will probably still give you a pretty good pot of rice, but we couldn’t find exact matches for these babies. Still look great though.
Inspired by smaller European bistro cups and curvier American diner mugs, each cup is totally unique both in glaze, size and handle (although not ratio per set – we’ve been measuring out exact volumes for weeks!).
All cups are glazed with Albany Slip, a beautiful Californian-meets-Cornish deep and earthy brown, with brush strokes of cool blue tones. Bit of a pot luck as to which one you get!
